Slingshot on Mars is a 4 piece jamband from Richmond Virginia. The genre bending quartet takes you on a trip through emotions, from songs with beautiful melodies to improvised jams that walk the line of insanity.

Slingshot came together as a vehicle to create original music, play some fun covers and most of all, perform live shows that rely heavily on improvisation. The diverse musical backgrounds range from classical to Jam, folk to funk, and everything in between. Tim, Rob, Jordan and Patrick all grouped together in 2025. Since they have performed a dozen venues and released their very own EP in May of 2026 (Pictured on this page). Tim & Rob are members of Last Fair Deal (Grateful Dead Tribute Band) and The Hashbury Collective (Jam Cover Band) as well. Alongside Rob & Tim's side quest, Jordan is also in the original Richmond band "Night Allowance". Patrick also plays with band "Sifter". Together they bring a mixture of Jam, Rock, Funk & Grassy-blues.
